The title seems to cast doubt on the origenal Band of Brothers which is rather unwarrented as the series was very true to the book written by Stephen E Ambrose,this book should be read in conjunction with the series as it adds a lot of well researched detail.Anyhow back to this dvd it carries interesting and enlightening interviews with the veterens of the 101st airborne 'The Screaming Eagles'that reveal a different side to going into action against a determined and well equiped enemy.As a stand alone film its falling short but to add detail and to help get the feel of the assault in conjunction with other material it does a good job

As a ww2 buff,I loved band of brothers on tv,so this was definitely one to buy a lot in it to see,some of it was funny,sad,and quite visual if you loved bob you will like this.cassino.
