After enjoying both Ali G and Borat I had great expectations that Bruno would be another side splitting production, but I was very dissapointed by this film. In my opinion, the main let down was how little the underlying format had changed. Ridiculing members of the public can be funny but only for a while and this element in movie became both tiresome and OTT in parts. I certainly don't mind SBC in doing this to 'famous' people as they lead their lives in the public eye and many have more than a few carrots up their behind. The movie would have been much better if he had stayed with ridiculing the later group and stayed away from the public. As for the sexual content, some parts were funny but many were just crass and OTT and I think SBC has to start being careful in his next movie if he is to avoid becoming stale and...dare I say it boring. There is no arguement SBC has a talent but he'll have to learn a few more tricks if he wants to keep us entertained in the future.

Bruno - felt like a seen-that-done-that flick. The film was absolutely predictable "Sacha Baron Cohen" crude comedy. But then - there is very little that Sacha is expected to do. You wouldn't expect him to do serious drama or nail biting thrillers or comedies for the entire family. Unfortunately the man is type cast to do what he does best - wicked comedy. Every time you end up seeing a Sacha Baron Cohen film you will end up thinking 'now haven't I seen this already'. Which was exactly what I felt after seeing Bruno.

I think this is another great Sacha Baron Cohen (Ali G/Borat), however I think some could easily be offended! Very funny and original.
