This is a great programme suitable for everyone, I love the fact you can just pick up from anywhere as there is a new story each episode.

I bought this series not having seen any episodes, simply because my interest was tweeked by the storyline. The first 3 or 4 episodes I thought -oh dear what a waste. But suddenly, the stories got better, good enough to overcome the American sugarcoated characters (the perfect husband, the best friend/employee who suddenly became a full partner in the business etc..)

My wife and I started to enjoy it so much, we've since bought series 2 and 3. Series one is mainly individual stories (1 per episode) but, as the various series progress, there starts to be an underlying theme and a link between that theme and the characters. However, one thing I do like is that this underlying theme does not become the be all and end all of the programme. There are still some stand alone episodes without mention of this theme and, even those that do include the theme, can be watched as stand-alone's.

One final thing - although the storyline is about the supernatural, it is only classified as a 12 (UK) and, although there are some scenes where my wife jumps, I think 12 is the right category, anyone younger watching may be upset by some scenes. For the over 12's - buy, watch and enjoy.

If you like all things ghosts you'll love Ghost Whisperer. Melinda is a woman with a special gift for speaking to the dead and helping them to cross over. Only her husband Jim and close friends know about her gift as it doesn't always work to her advantage, many people don't believe her at all. Melinda has to make people believe that she can talk to the "earthbound spirits" to help them solve their unfinished business so they can finally go into the light. You will be able to watch it over and over again, it never gets boring! It will make you laugh, cry and sometimes a little bit scared. Enjoy! x
